I’ve been working hard to grow my business in the Alberni Valley since 2010. During that time I've developed a great interest mortgages and helping my clients really understand the ins and outs of their financing. I put huge value on client relationships and helping people feel completely confident in the mortgage choices they’re making.
My approach is low pressure and informative, and I fully believe in giving every client my complete dedication, whether they're buying a million dollar lake property or a $75,000 starter home. You’ll get my full time and attention either way. The most rewarding part of my job is getting somebody approved for a mortgage that I’ve been working with on credit for a long time. I often work with my clients to improve credit or other application challenges for years before they’re actually ready to buy, and I’m completely happy to do this even though I’m not getting paid along the way.
Port Alberni is a huge part of my life. On a whim, my husband and I returned to Port Alberni in 2010 and really developed a passion for the community. In an effort to improve the community to be a place our 4 children will be able to grow and raise their families one day, I ran for City Council in 2014 and was elected. Subsequently in 2018, I decided to run for Mayor and was so thrilled to be successful in that. Although incredibly difficult at times, I love every minute of my role as Mayor and feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to lead and make a difference in the future of my community.
I certainly wouldn’t be able to manage all of this without a great team. So I am incredibly thankful to have other mortgage brokers and an amazing executive assistant to support me in my business. We work as a team, so when working with me, you’ll often engage with Ashley, Colin or Kristie as well.
If you’re looking for a mortgage and think my style would be a good fit for you, please connect with me. Due to being in and out of meetings both for council and mortgages, email is typically the best way to get in touch with me. If you prefer to call, that’s fine as well, it just may take me slightly longer to get back to you. Texting is also welcomed.
